APPLIED ARTS PROGRAM - INTRODUCTION

The Applied Arts Program

Matriculating students find a traditional design curriculum integrated with current computer
software and hardware technologies. All assignments in APA designated courses are accomplished utilizing Macintosh computer systems with digital photography, scanning, print
and Internet technologies.

Upon completion of the program students will have spent over 1600 hours on the computer. Industry standards for computer generated publications in print and electronic publications
are the foundation for proficiency in design and Internet based software programs.
